CUPPING THERAPY AND REFLEXOLOGY
Functional Movement Cupping
Functional Movement Cupping is a rehabilitation technique combining cupping with active, movement-based stretches and exercises. This cupping technique is used to; improve range of motion, increase flexibility, activate lagging muscles, and reduce muscular pain.
Placing the cups on restricted or underactive areas and guiding the patient through specific movements aids in breaking down adhesions, enhancing blood flow, and accelerating recovery. Improvements in range of motion can often be seen in just one session.
PLEASE NOTE: Cupping therapy has the potential to leave light bruising or cause mild soreness.
Reflexology
Reflexology is a complementary therapy involving applied pressure to specific points on the feet, hands, or ears, which are believed to correspond to specific body organs. Areas that are tense or uncomfortable during the applied pressure often correspond with stress on the corresponding organs or body systems. By releasing these areas of tension, the intention is to relieve that stress.
*Reflexology is not the same thing as a foot massage*
